About the Program

Nitte University's BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science is a leading undergraduate program that focuses on the scientific study of medicine. Admission Criteria

General Category

Candidates who are Indian nationals and have studied Class 12 in India, fall under this category.

General category students are required to appear for NUCAT 2024, for admission to BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science program.

Candidates appearing for Class 12 examination are eligible to apply for NUCAT.

NRI Category

Candidates mentioned below are eligible for direct admission under NRI category based on marks secured in PCB subjects in Class 12.

  • Candidates who are Foreign Nationals / PIOs / Overseas Citizens of India
  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 outside India
  • Candidates who have passed Class 12 in India, but sponsored by parents or blood relatives having NRI status.

Eligibility

Pass in Class 12 or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English as one of the languages of study.

In addition to the basic eligibility criteria mentioned above, candidates should qualify in the Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT) 2024.

Candidates appearing for Class 12 examination are eligible to apply for NUCAT. However, he/she should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
